Wow, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi Adopt a Baby Girl – Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi have shared some exciting news: they are now parents.
The couple revealed on Thursday, through a joint Instagram post, that they recently adopted a baby girl.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” their post read. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
They closed the announcement with the heartfelt line, “And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”
When asked for further details, a representative for Brown referred ABC News back to the Instagram statement. A spokesperson for Bongiovi did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
This milestone comes just over a year after the couple’s intimate wedding in May 2024. A few months later, in September, they held a second celebration in Tuscany, Italy.
In October, Brown and Bongiovi both shared wedding photos on Instagram. Brown captioned hers, “forever and always, your wife,” while Bongiovi echoed with, “forever and always, your husband.”
Earlier this year, Brown spoke about her strong desire to become a mother.
“My mom had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. It’s always been my dream to be a mom, even before I met Jake,” the Stranger Things star said on the Smartless podcast in March. “Since I was a baby, I would tell my mom, with baby dolls, that I wanted to be a mom just like her.”
She also credited her grandmother for shaping that dream. “My nan was a huge part of my life. Jake knows how important it is to me. Of course, I want to grow as an actor and producer, but starting a family is just as important for me personally.”
Brown shared that Bongiovi wanted marriage to come first. “Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married.’ That was his thing,” she explained. “We both come from big families I’m one of four, he’s one of four so having kids was always in our future.”
The actress also highlighted how adoption fit into her vision of family.
“I don’t see having your own child as being any different from adopting,” she said. “For me, my home is full of love for anyone and anything. That’s what Jake and I believe in our energy at home is always, ‘The door is open.’”
